I acknowledge and respect the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees and Xʷsepsəm/Esquimalt) Peoples on whose territory I currently reside on, and the Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.

I witness the rights of Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) including to their lands, their own governance, and genuine reparations for harms done and ongoing.
